Hi!
This is just a quick update for anyone who might have just stumbled across my website.
To check out the first Fenn album ‘Faces and Places’ please click on the Faces and Places tab above. The best place to buy it is probably JunoDownload but please note that it is not currently available from Amazon.co.uk due to a royalties dispute (or so my distributor tells me…).

To check out the NEW album ‘Outside Looking In’ the best place is probably Bandcamp as there you can pay whatever you want. Alternatively JunoDownload is probably the next best bet (from £3.99).

I’ve just uploaded the album to Bandcamp where I’ve created a new account.
For the time being at least I have made it so that you can pay whatever you want to download it!

The new album is now available on JunoDownload for as little as £3.99
which is not much more than the price of a beer so why not grab a copy!

Last-minute shenanigans with the new album… I was ready to press the Release button when I suddenly decided to drop a track and replace it with two others. This means that I’ve just given myself a couple of days extra work to get those finalised, but I should still be pressing the button this week.

Outside Looking In

I’m pretty much decided on the line-up for the new album now but I’ve had a definite change of heart on the title and artwork. It’s now going to be called Outside Looking In and here’s the much-improved new artwork

Well I’ve decided to hold the new tracks back for the album and not release them as singles for the time being, although they will all be available for download separately of course. This means that the new album will have four of its nine tracks previously unreleased, which is quite nice I think.
Anyway I’m hoping to release this just before the new year and it is provisionally called ‘Back To Reality’.
Here is the provisonal cover artwork. What do you think?

It’s Your Turn

Posted up another work in progress at the weekend called It’s Your Time (although it should be called It’s Your Turn and will be when I release it):

This led to me contacting the singer Snowflake, aka Emily Richards, who had uploaded the wonderful vocal I use on the track and who, fortunately, liked the track and is doing some very interesting stuff over at http://ccMixter.org.
I now have four tracks all very close to completion so I’m not sure whether to release them as one big EP, two EPs, or wait for a few weeks and just include them on the new album release…

Work In Progress

Okay, this is slightly belated, as I updated my Facebook page with this info at the weekend… I finished(?) three tracks in a marathon session on Saturday day and night which I’ve uploaded to Soundcloud as Works In Progress. I haven’t listened to them back since Sunday morning so they will probably need at least some tweaks even though, at the time I came to the conclusion that they might be finished. Anyway, let me know what you think!
